PERSENTASE KARKAS AYAM KAMPUNG SUPER YANG DIBERI L-ARGININE DALAM RANSUM DENGAN LEVEL BERBEDA

Abstract


ABSTRAK

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui karkas ayam kampung super yang diberi L-Arginine dalam ransum dengan level berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan lima perlakuan dan empat ulangan sehingga terdapat 20 unit percobaan. Setiap unit percobaan menggunakan lima ekor ayam kampung super umur 1 hari (DOC), dengan demikian jumlah ayam digunakan 100 ekor. Ransum percobaan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah P0 = ransum dasar 100% (Kontrol), P1 = ransum dasar 99,5% + asam amino L-Arginine 0,5%, P2 = ransum dasar 99,25% + asam amino L-Arginine 0,75%, P3 = ransum dasar 99% + asam amino L-Arginine 1%, P4 = ransum dasar 98,75% + asam amino L-Arginine 1,25%. Variabel penelitian yang diamati yaitu bobot hidup, bobot karkas, persentase karkas, bobot bagian-bagian karkas dan persentase bagian-bagian karkas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian asam amino L-Arginine dalam ransum memberikan pengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap bobot hidup dan bobot karkas, tetapi tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap persentase bagian-bagian karkas. Pemberian asam amino L-Arginine dalam ransum ayam kampung super dapat digunakan 0,75% - 1%, Penggunaan asam amino L-Arginine dalam ransum ayam kampung super mempengaruhi berat karkas tetapi tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan bobot hidup dan persentase bagian-bagian karkas.

ABSTRACT

This research aims to discover the carcasses of super native chickens given L-Arginine in different levels of rations. This research employs a Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with five treatments and four replicates (20 experimental units in total). Each experimental unit used five super native chickens aged one day (DOC), so the total number of chickenused was 100. The experimental ration used in this research were P0 = 100% basic ration (control), P1 = 99,5% basic ration + 0,5% L-Arginine amino acid, P2 = 99,25% basic ration + 0,75% L-Arginine amino acid, P3 = 99% basic ration + 1% L-Arginine amino acid, and P4 = 98,75% basic ration + 1,25% L-Arginine amino acid. The observed research veriables were live weight, carcass weight, carcass percentage, carcass parts weight, and the percentage of carcass parts. The results indicate that administering the amino acid L-Arginine in the ration had a significant effect (P<0.05) on live weight yet did not affect the percentage of carcass parts. In addition, the administration of the amino acid L-Arginine in the ration of super native chickens could be 0,75% - 1%. The use of the amino acid L-Arginine in the ration of super native chickens affected carcass yet insignificant in increasing the live weight and percentage of carcass parts.
