Relevansi Konsep Pendidikan Buya Hamka Dalam Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar

Abstract


Freedom to learn is a government program in this case the Ministry of Education and Culture in which teachers and students are free to determine the learning system. The purpose of independent learning is to create a pleasant learning atmosphere for students so that they can explore their potential interests and talents freely. Independent learning also makes students intelligent with character which is in line with the noble values of the Indonesian nation. The method used in this paper is the literature study method which is supported by relevant reference sources. The purpose of writing is to find out 1) The concept of independent learning; 2) Buya Hamka's views on education; and 3) The Relevance of Buya Hamka's Understanding towards Independent Learning. The findings in this paper show that first, the government program through the Ministry of Education and Culture launched the independent learning program which is the right breakthrough in the world of education today. The program is considered very relevant to the current situation, so that the goals of national education can be achieved properly. Second, the school cannot be separated from home, it means that the teachers and parents must work together in educating their children, therefore the mosque through congregational prayers is considered the right place for friendship between teachers and parents. Third, the independent learning program projected by the Ministry of Education and Culture has relevance to Hamka-style education in the past, namely independence in the aspect of desire, freedom in using common sense creativity to develop all its potential, and freedom from psychological burdens that make children feel that there is a pile of tasks to be completed.
