HUBUNGAN MOTIVASI KERJA DAN KOMITMEN KERJA DENGAN KINERJA GURU DI SEKOLAH DASAR TERPENCIL DI KABUPATEN GORONTALO UTARA
Abstract
This research aims to explore: I) correlation between work motivation and
teachers‟ performance in remote elementary school in the district of Gorontalo
Utara; 2) correlation between work commitment and teachers‟ performance in
remote elementary school in the district of Gorontalo Utara; and 3) simultaneous
correlation of work motivation and work commitment toward the performance of
teachers in remote elementary schools in the district of Gorontalo Utara.
The population of this research was teachers in the remote elementary schools in
the district of Gorontalo Utara. The sample of this researchâ€re 58 teachers, taken
using the random sampling technique. The data collection method was through
administratinrPo,questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive
analysis, requisite fest, and hypothesis tests that consisted of simple linier
regression and multiple regression analysis.
The partial correlation shows that (1) work motivation positively and significantly
correlated with the performance of the teachers in remote elementary schools in
the district of Gorontalo Utara, the correlation value was 53.40%, 2) work
commitment positively and significantly correlated with the performance of
elementary schools teachers in remote area of the district of Gorontalo Utara, the
correlation value was 48.40%; and 3) the result of multiple regression analysis
show that simultaneously, work motivation and work commitment positively and
significantly correlated with performance of elementary schools‟ teachers in
remote area of Gorontalo Utara district, with the value of the correlation was
69.25%.
