PENGARUH KOMPETENSI GURU DAN TUNJANGAN PROFESI TERHADAP KINERJA GURU SMA DI KABUPATEN GORONTALO

Abstract


The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the effect of teacher competence on the performance of high school teachers in Gorontalo Regency, (2) the effect of professional allowances on the performance of high school teachers in Gorontalo Regency, (3) the influence of teacher competence and professional allowances on the performance of high school teachers in Gorontalo Regency. Gorontalo. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The population in this study were high school teachers in (10) schools in the district of Gorontalo totaling 194 teachers with a sample of 55 teachers. Data was collected through questionnaires and processed using SPSS version 24, 2021. The results showed that: (1) there was an effect of teacher competence on the performance of high school teachers in Gorontalo Regency of 0.374. Then based on the t-test value, the Tukey value was obtained at 3.653 which the significance value of teacher competence (0.001) was smaller than the probability value of 0.05. (2) the effect of the professional allowance on the performance of high school teachers in Gorontalo Regency is 0.377. Then based on the t-test value, it is obtained a Tukey value of 3,681 which the significance value of the professional allowance (0.001) is smaller than the probability value of 0.05. (3) there is an effect of teacher competence and professional allowance together on teacher performance of 16,541 with a significance value or probability of 0.000.
