Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Geografi Video Animasi Berbasis Powtoon Pada Kelas X Di SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa
Abstract
The results of observations at SMAN 1 Suwawa through interviews with teachers and students based on the research instruments created were that teachers were still lacking in implementing learning in the form of animated videos. This research aims to develop video learning media based on powtoon animation in the geography subject Hydrosphere Dynamics material in class X IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa. the selection of animated video learning media using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages, namely the first stage, the development analysis stage, the planning stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. The results of the assessment by expert validation from product design experts got a value of 81.5% with a very valid level of validity, then the results of validation by material/content experts with a percentage value of 84% in the very valid category, and the validation value from learning experts got more or less 88%. the same as the validation results from media experts and material experts. Next, regarding the evaluation of student responses (limited scale), learning media got a score of 86.6% against student responses (general scale) learning media, namely getting a percentage score of 85.3%. The learning media for animated videos in the geography subject, Hydrosphere Dynamics material, is suitable for use in online-based learning processes.
