PENGELOLAAN KONFLIK DI SD NEGERI SEKECAMATAN KOTA UTARA KOTA GORONTALO
Abstract
Results of the study found: (1) The type of conflict in the elementary school
throughout of northern city are: conflict within his own group, inter of group
conflicts, and conflicts between organizations. (2) The cause of the conflict in the
elementary school throughout of northern city are: (a) Do not fluent of
communication between teachers. (b) Goal difference in an organization. (c)
Differences in behavior and personality which oriented to selfishness. (4) Conflict
management in the elementary school throughout of northern city, namely: (a)
increase the frequency of communication through the approach of intensive, (b)
The utilization of power, (c) resolving the conflict simultaneously, (d) the formation
of a team of mediators in resolving the conflict, (e) adduction of sanctions/penalties
in the organization, and (f) To evaluate the management of conflict
Suggestions of this study include: (1) it is expected to principals to improve its
performance to provide of care and guidance and to facilitate the school in order to
help the school community in solving the problems or conflicts to be a good quality
of school. (2) it is expected to the schools in solving the problems and strengthen
the programs of endorsement of achievement in objectives of school, (3) It is
expected of this study can be used as reference material for other researchers who
are interested in researching about the principal strategy in conflict management to
strengthen of findings in this research. So that the conflict management of this
context was interesting and give a challenge for the future of the education
management science.
