PENERAPAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN LITERASI SAINS SISWA SMP PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA (Literature Review)

Abstract


Problem-based learning (PBL) is a form of learning that emphasizes the learning process and developing problem-solving skills. The aim of this research is to analyze the application of PBL as a strategy to improve the scientific literacy abilities of junior high school students in the context of science learning. The method applied in this research is a literature review, with the type of research being meta-analysis. A total of 13 articles published between 2015 and 2023 were used in the literature review process for this research. This entire article underwent a content analysis process in article review. Sample selection was carried out through Google Scholar by applying a proportional sampling technique. The research results show that PBL has positive potential for increasing students' scientific literacy. Both the use of the PBL model directly without integration and with integration show an increase in students' scientific literacy.
