PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROJECT BASED LEARNING DAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 1 BATUDAA PANTAI KECAMATAN BATUDAA PANTAI KABUPATEN GORONTALO

Abstract


The research objective is to find out the impact of Project Based Learning Model and Learning Activity on the students learning outcomes in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Batudaa Pantai, Batudaa Pantai Subdisctrict, Gorontalo District. The data sources are primary data obtained through questionnaire distribution to 50 respondens and learning outcomes test to the research samples (students). The technique of data analysis employs multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 21. The research finding indicates that the multiple regression equation is Ŷ = 36,877 + 0,158bX1 + 0,414bX2 + Ɛ. The result of simultaneus test reveals that value of probability of Fcount is 0,000, which is lower than value of alpha for 0,01. In additon, the result of partial test discovers that the probability of tcount for Project Based Learning (PjBL) model is 0,016, which is lower that than value of alpha for 0,05, and probability of tcount for learning activity is 0,000 which is lower than value of alpha for 0,01. It is concluded that (1) the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model impact the students learning outcomes in class VIII of Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri 1 Batudaa Pantai, Gorontalo District positively and significantly with coefficient of determination value of 9,30%, (2) the larning acitivity impacts the students learning outcomes in class VIII of Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri 1 Batudaa Pantai, Gorontalo District positively and significantly with coeficient of determination value of 52,50%, and (3) the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model and learning activity, simultatneously, impact the students learning outcomes in class VIII of Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri 1 Batudaa Pantai, Gorontalo District significantly with value of correlation for 78,60% and coeficient of determination for 61,80%. In the meantime, the rest 38,20% is elucidated by other variable that are not studied, such as internal factoc of students including capability (intelligence), personality, talent, and external factors including teacher’s teaching skill, parents’ motivation, school environment, and school cooperatio with parents.
