MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF MAKE A MATCH PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS MATERI AYO CINTAI LINGKUNGAN DI KELAS VI SDN 02 LEMITO KECAMATAN LEMITO KABUPATEN POHUWATO

Abstract


The purpose of this research is to: increase student activity and learning outcomes in social studies subjects through the use of Make A Match Cooperative Learning Model in social studies learning in class IV SDN 02 Lemito, Lemito District, Pohuwato Regency. This research uses classroom action research. The research phase consists of planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The object of research is the fourth grade students of SDN 02 Lemito, Lemito District, Pohuwato Regency. Data collection techniques are: 1) observation sheets of teacher activities and student activities during the learning process and 2) tests of student learning outcomes. The research hypothesis is that if social studies learning is carried out using the Make A Match Cooperative Learning Model, the activities and learning outcomes of students in class IV SDN 02 Lemito, Lemito District, Pohuwato Regency will increase, with an indicator of the success of the action is the number of students who get a minimum score of 75 increases from 56% to a minimum of 85%. As a conclusion of this research are: the use of the Make A Match Cooperative Learning Model can increase Student Activities and Learning Outcomes in social studies subjects especially in class IV SDN 02 Lemito Lemito District Pohuwato Regency, this is supported by the results of research: 1) the number of students who obtained a minimum of 75 increased from 43.75% at the time of initial observation to 56.25% after the implementation of the first cycle, and increased again to 87.50%,after the implementation of cycle II. 2) Observation Results Teacher activities included in the criteria very well and well increased from 53.66% in the implementation of the first cycle to 86.66% in Cycle II, and 3) observations of student activity included in the active and moderately active criteria increased from 40% of the cycle I implementation increased to 90%. after the results of the second cycle.
